Men taken to hospital
POLICE have issued a warning after two men in their thirties collapsed after suspected drug use.
The men, from Carlisle, were admitted to the Cumberland Infirmary on Thursday after being taken ill. It is believed the drug they may have taken is called Blue Valium. A 36-year-old man collapsed in English Street at 4pm then, at 5.55pm, a 31-year-old man collapsed in Prescott Road.
Both men suffered respiratory problems. Their conditions were not thought to be life threatening.
