Just the ticket

A COLLECTION of 400 books which belonged to a Perthshire railway enthusiast is to be sold to raise money for charity.

The books have been donated by his family in his memory and will be sold at Pitlochry Festival Theatre on Sunday.

The event runs from 10am until 2pm and i s being organised by volunteers from Pitlochry Station Bookshop.

The volumes are i n excellent condition and cover a wide cross-section of railway history from Britain and abroad.

Titles range from How to Drive a Steam Locomotive and LMS Engine Sheds, to the South Indian Railway Illustrated Guide.
