Capital hosting fixtures

THE British Water Polo League Championship fixtures move to Edinburgh this weekend where Caledonia’s men and senior women play fixtures at the Royal Commonwealth Pool.

Senior men have two games in the First Division. Tomorrow they play Manchester and on Sunday it’s Sheffield.

The senior women play Liverpool Lizards tomorrow and, the following day, they face Manchester.

In Division Four, Portobello top the league.

In Division Five, Caledonia Storm travel to Marlborough College this weekend where they play Warwick and Watford.

At the ASA U/15 boys tournament held in Manchester, Caledonia were runners-up after a penalty shootout as they drew with Manchester 6-6 in the final before losing 11-10 in the shootout to gain silver medals.

Jake Muir of Menzieshill was voted Caledonia’s Player of the Tournament.

Other local players in the Caledonia side were Josh Muir and Nick Parsons.
