ROUND-UP Celts have final goal

But St Andrews will provide a stern test at Lochee Park

Evening Telegraph (First Edition) - - Uk World Today -

CELTIC Boys will be going all out to book their place in the U/13 Ross Ballantine Cup Final when they line up against St Andrews Colts at Lochee Park on Sunday.

Already through to the final are Forfar, who pipped Fairmuir in a hardfought semi-final last week.

In the same agegroup, the Brown Cup semi-finals also take place with Carnoustie hosting Brechin while Dundee West meet ACSC at Downfield.

With all four having no game last week, their squads should be healthy.

Elsewhere on Sunday, the U/15 Jean Pierre Babin Cup semi-finals are scheduled to take place.

Dryburgh face a tricky trip up the A90 to Forfar, while a cracking game should be in store at Monymusk where Broughty are the hosts against Celtic.

Another top cup-tie scheduled for Monymusk is the meeting of DUSC and St Andrews Colts in the quarter-finals of the Peter McAvoy Cup.

Officials will hope the majority of games go ahead this weekend after last week’s card was hit by the weather.
