Evening Telegraph (First Edition) - - Uk World Today -

FORMER Arsenal stars Lee Dixon, Martin Keown and Ian Wright voiced their displeasure at Arsene Wenger and his players after a humiliating 5-1 Champions League thrashing at Bayern Munich.

“He just seems so low,” former full-back Dixon said.

“I think he’s realising with this team he’s getting no response from them. They’re not doing themselves justice or him.”

Keown, who won three league titles under Wenger, suggested this was t he nadir of t he 67-year-old’s reign.

“I t ’s a l m o s t e m b a rrassing — outclassed, outplayed,” Keown said.

“This is his lowest point ever. Twenty years and Arsene must be considering his future now. Arsenal were bullied, weren’t they? Completely.

“The difference between the t wo squads, t hey (Bayern) were men against boys, they were bigger and stronger.”

Meanwhile Wright was tweeting throughout the match and showed his anger.

“We are a shambles,” he posted.
