Overnight resurfacing restrictions
THE A92 five roads roundabout in Fife is set for resurfacing works worth £84,000.
The works started last night and will take place over five nights. The improvements will address any defects i n the carriageway and ensure the road remains in a safe working condition for years to come.
The restrictions will be in place between 7.30pm and 6.30am with the works expected to be completed by 6.30am on Friday. All restrictions will be lifted throughout the day.
For safety of the workforce and motorists, the works will require a partial closure of the roundabout with access from the A92 approaches maintained via temporary traffic lights.
Traffic heading to five roads roundabout from the St Michaels area will be diverted via A914 to A92 Forgan roundabout.
Traffic using the local C12 road to five roads roundabout from Wormit will be diverted via B946, B985 to A92 Forgan roundabout.
Consultation has taken place with the local authority, businesses, local residents and bus operators in advance of the resurfacing to make them aware of the traffic management arrangements and to minimise any inconvenience.
