Bar assault charge

PAUL Watts, 27, of Duns Crescent, appeared in private at Dundee Sheriff Court.

Watts is charged with assaulting Robert McMillan by repeatedly punching him on the head, causing him to fall to the ground to his injury and permanent disfigurement at The Gunners Bar, King Street, Broughty Ferry, on March 12.

He made no plea or declaration to one charge on petition and the case was continued for further inquiries. Watts was allowed bail.
