Craigie plan to keep the heat on top two

-

IN-FORM East Craigie should keep the pressure on the North League leaders by stretching their unbeaten run with a win over bottom-of-the-table Forfar Albion.

The Shipbuilders may find it difficult to catch the top two — Kirrie Thistle and Thornton — but have their eyes on finishing third.

With a full pool available it would be a major surprise if they fail to pick up three points at Guthrie Park.

Lochee Harp manager Michael Gormley will be boosted by the return of Connaire Connelly, Liam Rodd, Graham Allan and Ryan McKillen for the visit of North End.

The Beechwood gaffer will, however, be without Mark Kelly, Gordon Ramsay, Graeme Dailly and keeper Darren Brown, while Joe Colquhoun is doubtful.

Harp are always difficult to beat at Beechwood and this will be a big test for new Dokens manager Ross Lunan, who, so far, has enjoyed 100% success since he took over from Andy Heggie.

The visitors will once again be without Euan McIlvennie and Robbie George.

Scone Thistle, who welcome Newburgh, will be without Fraser Mills, Martin Strachan and goalkeeper David Winton — Josh Gorton takes over between the sticks.

Newburgh will be looking to atone for last week’s 5-1 defeat at the hands of Lochore Welfare.
