Cellist to perform

TOP cellist Niall Brown will perform a programme of solo suites in Perth’s St John’s Scottish Episcopal Church on Friday June 23 at 7.30pm.

Co-principal cellist of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the musician combines his position at the orchestra with teaching at the Conservatoire du Nord, Luxembourg.

Mr Brown i s playing three concerts to raise money for projects run by the Anglican diocese of Kolkata in India.

He will also be performing at Holy Trinity Church, Pitlochry, at 2.30pm on Thursday June 22 and at Dunblane Cathedral at 12.30pm on Friday June 23.
