Bus company on board with charter

-

XPLORE Dundee has committed to making bus travel easier for the city’s blind and partiallysighted community.

The local bus operator signed up to RNIB Scotland’s bus charter at an event at Glasgow’s Riverside Museum.

The nationwide campaign aims to make public transport more accessible for blind and partially sighted people.

Elsie Turbyne, managing director of Xplore Dundee, said: “We already have in place various measures to ensure our services are easy for everyone to use.

“I’m glad to put Xplore Dundee’s name to the RNIB’s bus charter to show our ongoing commitment to getting bus travel right for everyone.”
