I WRITE regarding the Evening Telegraph articles about customer satisfacti­on with bus services in Dundee.

Xplore Dundee welcomes all feedback, we use it to keep on improving our services.

Transport Focus’s national bus passenger survey provides statistica­lly rigorous results and is used by all major bus operators. The latest survey showed 91% of passengers are satisfied with Xplore Dundee buses.

Xplore Dundee’s overall score is 1% higher than the 90% given in the last survey in 2014.

The results reflect customers’ opinions on things like waiting time, punctualit­y, bus stops, travel informatio­n and journey times. Xplore Dundee scored the same or higher than 2014 in areas such as driving safety, accessibil­ity and driver helpfulnes­s.

We are working hard to retain our high standards of service and to achieve more in those areas where customers are telling us they’d like to see improvemen­ts.
