PERTH-BORN Lana Clelland, who played for the Fair City’s Letham Girls, netted Scotland women’s first goal in their 3-0 friendly success against Hungary in Budapest.

Clelland, who has hit nine goals in two games this season for her club side, Italians Tavagnacco, put the Scotland women one up in 15 minutes.

Manchester City pair Claire Emslie and Jane Ross netted the other goals — the l atter scoring for Scotland for the 51st time.

It was a winning start for new Scotland coach Shelley Kerr, formerly head coach of Lowland League men’s outfit Stirling University.
