Two points dropped

-

MONTROSE manager Stewart Petrie was l eft reflecting on two points dropped as his team were held at home by an Annan side that played for more than 20 minutes with 10 men.

The draw represented a chance missed for Montrose to go level at the top of League Two with Stirling Albion, who drew 1-1 at Clyde.

Petrie said: “That was a chance l ost to gain on Stirling. In the first 15 minutes we were exceptional. We scored and also hit the bar, so it was frustrating to finish level.

“They had a man sent off and were hanging on but fair play to them.

?? ?? Stewart Petrie“We started the second half great and created some good chances then we lost a sloppy goal.“That i s 13 points we have taken from the last 15 so I am not going to grumble.”
