New boss can take United up

-

I’LL bet new United boss Csaba Laszlo (above) can’t believe his luck.

His first game in charge at Tannadice didn’t go to plan but his league debut this weekend gives him the chance to take his side top of the table.

How often does that happen when taking over a team from a sacked manager?

Usually you’ve got to pick up the broken pieces of a failed league campaign and cut some sort of gap to the top.

For Csaba, however, even a point against Falkirk will be enough to take top spot with nobody else playing this weekend.

And there’s absolutely no doubt the starting XI he picks to take on Paul Hartley’s Bairns will be a lot different to the one he chose for the Irn-Bru Cup quarter-final.

I think United have got themselves a good man to take the helm — looking at his CV, he seems to have improved every club he’s been at.

With the Tangerines sitting second in the table right now, improvement means only one thing.
