Man accused of sex attack at club
A MAN is to stand trial accused of carrying out a sex attack on a disabled man in a Dundee nightclub.
Brian McDonald, 50, of Fountainbleau Drive, denied three charges at the city’s sheriff court.
McDonald is alleged to have targeted the man at Industry Nightclub, in Seagate, on November 1 by touching his clothing over his leg and groin area.
Prosecutors claim the alleged offence was “aggravated by prejudice relating to disability”.
McDonald is also accused of following the man into a toilet cubicle and carrying out a sex act on him before “coercing” him into participating in sexual activity in the toilets.
Sheriff Alastair Carmichael fixed a trial date for March 21, with an intermediate diet on March 1.
