Ladies’ dinner success

FORFAR Athletic scored a resounding victory off the pitch when the annual ladies’ dinner was held in the Reid Hall.

Nearly 250 people supported the fundraiser organised by Fiona Cameron, Lesley Deas, Fiona Smith and Jacqui Williamson.

The evening included a successful auction, a raffle and games.

The master of ceremonies was Ian Thain and, following a welcome from club chairman Ken Stewart, the entertainment opened on a high note, thanks to the singing talents of the Leonard Marie Duo.

Isobel Rutter, an award-winning speaker, actress and playwright from Glasgow, had the audience in stitches and the evening concluded with music from Fife musicians Big Night Out.
