Man denies driving under the influence
MICHAEL Inglis, 35, of Whorterbank, is alleged to have driven in Strathmartine Road while under the influence of drink or drugs.
He denied the charge at Dundee Sheriff Court but he did admit failing to provide a specimen of blood to police and driving without insurance and without a licence on March 30.
Sheriff Tom Hughes set a trial date for April 26 and remanded Inglis in custody.
DANA Johnston, 32, of Cleveland Circle, admitted a charge of shoplifting from Card Factory, Murraygate, on March 29.
She admitted stealing two gift sets, a money wallet and a clip frame, while on bail.
Sheriff Tom Hughes deferred sentence until April 9 for the case to call alongside other matters.
He remanded Johnston in custody meantime.
