Kamberi eyes best of rest spot

-

HIBERNIAN striker Florian Kamberi is confident they can keep moving up the Ladbrokes Premiership table and claim second spot.

Kamberi’s hat-trick against Hamilton moved Hibs one point behind Rangers with six games left, while second-placed Aberdeen are a further three points in front.

Hibs are now unbeaten in eight matches and the on-loan Grasshopper Zurich striker feels they can continue their momentum.

After a 3-1 win over Accies, the 23-year-old said: “We are looking up, we don’t l ook behind.

“We are one point behind Rangers so everything is open.

“There i s now one game against Ross County and then the five play-off games and I think everything is open for second place.

“If we continue with this mentality and fighting spirit, I think we can be successful at the end of the season.

“The gaffer doesn’t have to say too much for us because we know what to do.

“Everybody is doing their job, we have won five in a row at Easter Road so it’s perfect for us.”
