Park is too small for all the children

Evening Telegraph (First Edition) - - Uk World Today -

REGARDING the council spokeswoman’s response to my letter in the Tele on April 24 about play space in Lochee.

She makes my point by highlighting the play areas between the multis, Adamson Court and Elders Court. The children will have to cross the busy bypass to get to the very small park — and no doubt join the queue to play on the swings.

After all, this park is used by the kids who live in the multis and on Atholl Street, who at least live on the right side of the road.

Can the council inform readers as to what an in informal seating area is?

Could it be more specific as to where this multi-use games area is?

And finally, I note the council didn’t comment on housing policy and play areas.

Is it acceptable to have families living on busy ringroads? I can’t imagine many of the kids will be out playing on their bikes nearby.

James Hutchison.
