DUNFERMLINE boss Allan Johnston is looking forward to their Premiership play-off with Dundee United following their 4-0 home win over Dumbarton.

Kallum Higginbotham scored twice with Fraser Aird adding a third before half-time and Ryan Williamson making it 4-0 in the second half with his first senior goal.

“The boys were very professional, I thought we controlled the game from start to finish,” he said.

“I f yo u look at the second half of the season, we are playing strongly and now have a bit of momentum and are not losing a lot of goals.

“We are scoring goals so it sets it up for a really good game tomorrow. Hopefully, we can put in a good performance and score a couple of goals.”

Meanwhile, Brechin became the first Scottish side in 126 years to go through a season without a win after a 5-1 loss to Queen of the South.

Elsewhere, St Mirren duo Jack Ross and Lewis Morgan were crowned PFA Manager and Championship Player of the Year respectively.
