Summer art exhibition
THE Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (RSW) will return for the fourth time to the Meffan Museum and Art Gallery in Forfar with its seventh open summer exhibition.
This exhibition, open to all watercolour artists in Scotland, is one of the key dates on the Scottish arts calendar.
Some of Scotland’s leading artists will be showing new work alongside talented young artists from across the country.
The RSW is the only society in Scotland dedicated to promoting watercolour painting.
It has a distinguished history and many of Scotland’s most significant and well-known painters have been among the membership.
The exhibition opens at the Meffan on Saturday and runs until June 29.
