Gaelic award

PUPILS from Goodlyburn Primary School in Perth are celebrating after winning an award for their Gaelic reading achievements as part of the First M i n i s t e r ’s R e a d i n g Challenge.

Nicola Sturgeon presented awards to pupils and schools from across Scotland at an event in Edinburgh, recognising their outstanding participation in the challenge.

Reading charity Scottish B o o k Tr u s t is now expanding the challenge to secondary schools, libraries and community groups in the next school year.
