Meat House of Dundee
I WONDERED if the city had any good barbecue, or meat-orientated restaurants/take away joints, and with a grand name such as this surely I couldn’t go wrong.
Seeing they had a delivery option I seized the chance to see for myself. There were some good burger options and other meaty offers.
As a starter I went with the six buffalo wings (£9).
Sadly they were not the giant-sized wings I had hoped for. They were nice and tender, but lacking on the size front.
I definitely could have done with a few more.
I had to go for a burger for my main. They had some good choices.
I chose the venison burger, accompanied by black pudding, cheese and chilli (£9).
The taste of venison was strong, but maybe it was lacking a special sauce to stand out.
On one hand I was slightly disappointed (it wasn’t the American barbecue joint I’d hoped for) but on the other it crafted up some pretty decent food.
I would definitely go back.
