Broughty are set to be unchanged

Evening Telegraph (Late Extra Edition) - - KIDS - BY JUNICUS

AFTER last week’s demolition of Carnoustie, Broughty manager Jim Finlayson is ready to go with the same pool for tomorrow’s home game against Super League leaders Penicuik.

While delighted with the overall display against the Gowfers, Finlayson was annoyed with the loss of what he describes as two cheap goals. Any repeat will surely be punished by undefeated Penicuik.

After disappointing shows which saw them lose a league match at Newtongrange and a defeat from East Craigie in the GA Cup, Lochee United are hoping they can get back on track at home to Bo’ness.

The Lothian side have struggled this season and are in the unusual position, for them, of being third bottom of the league table.

The Bluebells have a good record against the Lothian side, winning two of their last three meetings at Thomson Park.

The sides drew 2-2 last season but in the previous two years Lochee were 4-2 and 5-2 winners.

Manager George Shields hopes to include a loan player from a senior club but will be without the injured Mark Stewart, Kevin Buchan and Aaron Whitehead.

The Bluebells have sent Cammy McMahon on loan to North End.

Having lost their last three league matches, Carnoustie will be hoping to stop the rot at Hill of Beath.

The Gowfers have Derek Paterson and Alan Conway out. Luke McGeehan and Adam Harwood are nursing knocks with their chance of being fit rated no better than 50-50.

Forfar West End are at home to Kennoway Star Hearts. The teams occupy the two bottom places in the table.

West End player-boss Daryl McKenzie missed last week’s game with an injury but is back in the squad of 17.

Jeanfield Swifts have an attractive home fixture. They take on Linlithgow Rose who are third top.

Still out of Swifts’ squad with injuries are goalkeeper Mark Mitchell, Chris Anton and Tony Holt. Matt Curtis continues to deputise for Mitchell, Richard Donavan returns to the squad which numbers 17.

East Craigie defend in their GA Cup win over Lochee United.Tomorrow they face Brechin Vics in the North League.
