Cheaper day re­turn tick­ets

S TAG E C OAC H has an­nounced cheaper day re­turn tick­ets for those trav­el­ling in Fife, Dundee, An­gus and Perthshire.

The bus com­pany is launch­ing a va­ri­ety of new day re­turn tick­ets from Novem­ber 20.

Vary­ing in price from £5-£8, they can be used on jour­neys from Dundee to Ar­broath, Perth to Ed­in­burgh, Rosyth/ Dun­fermline to Ed­in­burgh, and more.

It al­lows up to 40% off the equiv­a­lent dayrider ticket.

Paul Thomas, the com­pany’s man­ag­ing di­rec­tor for East Scot­land, said: “We’re very ex­cited to an­nounce the in­tro­duc­tion of th­ese new day re­turn tick­ets, es­pe­cially with the fes­tive sea­son just around the cor­ner.

“Th­ese tick­ets will al­low cus­tomers to en­joy a great day out with the fam­ily for less.

“We hope the in­tro­duc­tion of th­ese new tick­ets will also ben­e­fit com­muters get­ting to and from work day to day and en­cour­age us­age of our new and i mproved ser­vices.” A DUNDEE FC foot­ball fan who has been col­lect­ing the tops worn by his he­roes for three decades says he has no plans of putting the hems on his col­lec­tion.
