£13.5k boost for Marie Curie
A BRAVE group of fundraisers in Dundee went “over the top” for charity.
The roof of Dundee University’s dental hospital was the venue for a sponsored abseil to benefit Marie Curie nurses.
The organisers of the event thanked all those who took part and helped to generate £13,500.
Cash raised by such events funds hands-on nursing care and support for local people and families affected by a terminal illness. The Marie Curie fundraising group in the city is making preparations for next year’s event.
