Last chance to vote for Scotswoman of theYear

Evening Times - - Nobody knows glasgow better - By LINDA ROBERTSON

WHO is your Scotswoman of the Year 2006? You have just ONE day left to cast your vote for one of our six inspirational finalists... so make it count! The Scotswoman of the Year awards, now in their 44th year, are a celebration of the incredible contributions made by women from all walks of life. And few epitomise this better than this year’s finalists.

Entries have been flooding in for our six nominees, Linda Armstrong, Carol Dobbins, Alison Logan, Janey Godley, Anna Dominiczak and Helen MacKenzie.

But there is still time for you to choose who you think should win Scotland’s top honour for women. We need YOUR help to decide who wins our prestigious award.

The winner will be chosen by you, with input from a panel of judges, chaired by Evening Times editor Donald Martin.

The result will be announced at a gala dinner on Monday, October 23, in Glasgow City Chambers, hosted by broadcaster Janice Forsyth.
