Probe into city centre attack on teenager

INVESTIGATIONS are under way after a teenager was assaulted in Glasgow city centre early today.

Police were in attendance in Bath Street where a section was closed off.

A police spokeswoman said officers were called to a report of an assault in Bath Street shortly after 2am and inquiries are continuing. A protective cover was placed on the pavement at the scene.

The victim, an 18-yearold male, was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
