Tributes to tragic football coach, 24

TRIBUTES have been paid to a young football coach who died in a car crash.

Kieran Innes, 24, suffered fatal injuries in the collision on the A90 just north of Forfar, at around 7.45am on Tuesday.

No other vehicle was involved in the accident, which forced the temporary closure of a lane while police investigated.

Youth club Middlefield Wasps said Mr Innes, from Aberdeen, was one of their coaches.

A spokesman said: “Kieran was a genuine, nice guy and would do anything for anyone. He loved all his players, who will miss him dearly.”
