Shinnie says Euro winner was magic
ABERDEEN captain Graeme Shinnie labelled his winning goal against Apollon Limassol on Thursday night as one of the best moments of his career and backed the Dons to complete the job in Cyprus next week.
Shinnie’s long-range strike put Derek McInnes’ side back in front at Pittodrie after on-loan Celt Ryan Christie’s early goal had been cancelled out midway through the second half of the team’s Europa League third qualifying round first leg.
Aberdeen have fallen at this hurdle in the last three seasons but hometown hero Shinnie believes they are in great shape to make the play-off round this time.
