Chal­lenge Cup game time vi­tal for Ros­siter

JOR­DAN ROS­SITER was on tar­get for a Rangers XI at the Chal­lenge Cup i n Nuneaton on Sun­day af­ter­noon.

The mid­fielder missed out on a place in Pe­dro Caix­inha’s squad for the friendly with Sh­effield Wed­nes­day, but got more vi­tal match min­utes un­der his belt for the sec­ond string.

Rangers were beaten 3-1 by PSV Jong on day one of the com­pe­ti­tion and fol­lowed up that de­feat with a draw against Wolves.

Mid­fielder Ros­siter opened the scor­ing for the Light Blues and young­ster Ai­dan Wil­son net­ted a late equaliser.

The likes of Liam Kelly, Ross McCrorie, Jor­dan Thompson and Ryan Hardie were part of the Gers squad for the tour­na­ment as Liver­pool and Coventry also sent teams to Lib­erty Way.
