Thumbs up for revamp
BUSINESS owners and residents have welcomed plans to revamp Paisley.
The public consultation on the plans for the renovation of Paisley’s West End was held over the summer.
Renfrewshire council bosses say they received “strong support” for the proposals, which will see 150 social homes and commercial units created.
It would be developed by demolishing tenement flats, for which they say there is low demand.
More than 80% of those who responded to the consultation welcomed the plans for demolition.
