Tributes to partner who died in crash
A MAN who died in a crash was on the verge of adopting with his partner.
The family of Jamie Lindsay, 41, paid tribute to him after he died following a near head on collision on the A7close to Carlisle on Tuesday.
Jamie, from Killearn in the Campsie Fells, was also looking to start his own airline.
In a tribute, Jamie’s family said: “There was never a dull moment in Jamie’s company.
“He read civil engineering in Glasgow and worked for several major companies before setting up his own.
“He later founded a logistics company. At the time of his death he was in the process of setting up an airline.
“Mike and Jamie were in the process of adopting two young boys when he passed away. He will be sadly missed by his husband, family and friends. Mike and Jamie had a very happy relationship that lasted almost 15 years.”
