Helping hand for hospice with £30,000 donation
A LANARKSHIRE hospice has received a £30,000 to help care for people with cancer.
St Andrew’s Hospice, in Airdrie, provides palliative care to people with cancer and other life limiting illnesses across Lanarkshire, giving vital support to patients and families. The donation from the Asda Foundation through their Hamilton store will fund the kit out of a multi-occupancy room with en-suite facilities.
The reconfigured hospice now has 21 single rooms and three multi-occupancy rooms and many features to ensure patients continue to receive quality care.
