Chance to find out all about dementia dogs
GLASGOW residents living with dementia are being given the chance to learn more about a project that could help them with the disease.
Dementia Dog Project will be holding a drop-in information session in Glasgow on Friday, October 19 at the Alzheimer Scotland office on Oxford Street.
The event offers people living with dementia the opportunity to meet Uno the dementia dog, hear more about the project, and apply for a dementia assistance dog.
The Dementia Dog Project is a charitable collaboration between Alzheimer Scotland and Dogs for Good, and the first initiative of its type in the world to blend dementia specialist services with the provision of highly trained assistance dogs.
