Celtic set to take on French trio

CELTIC’s pre-season matches will be shown live on Premier Sports.

The Parkhead side are set to travel to France. They will kick off against Nice and will then play Lyon and finally Paris Saint-Germain over the next five days.

The broadcaste­r said: “Premier Sports will broadcast each of Celtic’s preseason friendlies from France this July as the Champions prepare for the beginning of the 2020/21 Scottish Premiershi­p campaign.

“This will be the first opportunit­y for Celtic fans to watch their team in action since the Covid-19 pandemic ended the 19/20 season in

March. Reigning Scottish Champions Celtic will start their pre-season in France challengin­g a selection of French clubs. Beginning on July 16. Celtic will first face Nice at 5.15pm, Lyon on July 18 at 7.45pm before playing current French league champions PSG at the Parc des Princes at 6pm on Tuesday July 21.

“Premier Sports is the home for Scottish knockout football and will broadcast the Scottish Cup and Betfred Cup in the 2020/21 season. Premier Sports customers will also be able to watch Celtic start their European campaign next month with coverage confirmed for Celtic’s first three qualifiers.”
