Mr. John Gib­son from Vent­nor on the Isle of Wight asked about Sabrina whose volup­tuous fig­ure was im­pos­si­ble to ig­nore! Norma Ann Sykes was born in Stock­port, Cheshire, in 1936 and de­spite po­lio as a child, tried her luck in Lon­don where she was dis­cov­ered as a model. In 1955 she ap­peared as the dumb blonde in Arthur Askey’s tele­vi­sion show Be­fore Your Very Eyes and, with pro­por­tions of 41- 18- 36, it wasn’t long be­fore she was do­ing the same on the cinema screen.
