The Evergreen Prayer
O Lord, what are my problems when compared with the burdens of this sad and uncaring world? A world that cares more about its own existence than that of others — the poor, the sick, the bereaved, those without hope or love. Yet it is your love that pierces all doom. You entered the tomb dead, broken and naked. You walked out alive, glorious and clothed in majesty. And so it can be with us — hope restored, alive again in the certain knowledge of an uncompromising faith and eternal life.
