STATOIL and the Science Museum are inviting ‘Young Imagineers’ aged 7-14 to answer the question: What invention would you create to make tomorrow’s world a better place?

Whether it’s a teleportation device, homework robot, a biscuit that can withstand heavy dunking, or something completely different, this is an opportunity for young brains to be creative and think like a scientist!

The ten most imaginative and inspirational entries will be given the chance to develop their invention with the help of a professional designer, before showing their idea to an expert panel at the Science Museum, including TV presenters Steph McGovern and Greg Foot.

One overall winner will then have their invention created and displayed for a month outside Wonderlab: The Statoil Gallery at the Science Museum, where it will be seen by thousands of museum visitors every week.

Entrants have until 6 October 2017 to submit a simple sketch and a maximum of 100 words.

The entry form is at www.youngimagineers.sta
