seals have been res­cued by RSPCA Cymru this sea­son. The 100th seal to be saved was dis­cov­ered on Caswell Bay in Swansea. The grey pup has been nick­named Cen­tury and is cur­rently be­ing cared for at Welsh Marine Life Res­cue.

Stephen from Skip­ton saved a woman’s life af­ter us­ing first aid skills that he was taught at school. Af­ter find­ing a woman un­con­scious in the street, he put her in the re­cov­ery po­si­tion and lifted her head up. He then called an am­bu­lance and helped paramedics put her on a stretcher.

pounds is how much a rare first edi­tion of the first ever Big­gles book (about a fic­tional WW1 pilot) has sold for at an auc­tion in Nor­folk. The books were writ­ten by Wil­liam Earl Johns, a real WW1 pilot.

pounds is how much a new skate park in Dou­glas on the Isle of Man will cost. The mod­ern con­crete bowl de­sign will re­place the set of old and run-down ramps in Noble’s Park.
