Face mask plea

A deaf teenager has asked Boris Johnson for his help to get more people wearing transparent face masks. Emma Church sent the prime minister a special mask she made herself, in the hope that he will set an example by wearing it in public. The mask has a see-through window that allows the wearer’s mouth to be seen. Emma says this will help people with hearing difficulties to communicate, because they can lip-read when people are speaking to them.
