First News - - HOME NEWS -

Three people, including the driver and conductor, died when a ScotRail train left the tracks and caught fire after hitting a landslip near Stonehaven. The train had been heading for Glasgow when it turned back towards Aberdeen because of another landslip further down the track. An off-duty conductor had to climb out of the wreckage and walk miles to raise the alarm, as there was no mobile phone signal where the accident happened.
