New Lib Dem leader

The Lib­eral Democrats have cho­sen Sir Ed Davey as their new leader, af­ter the lengthy se­lec­tion process fi­nally came to an end. The UK po­lit­i­cal party has strug­gled in re­cent years, slip­ping from 62 seats in 2005 to just 11 now. Sir Ed Davey said: “The truth is, vot­ers don’t be­lieve the Lib­eral Democrats want to help or­di­nary peo­ple get on in life. It is time for us to start lis­ten­ing.”
