Self-destructing circuit

Focus-Science and Technology - - Discoveries -

JAMES BOND’S GADGET supplier Q would be proud of this: an electrical circuit that disappears after one day, leaving no trace of its original purpose. Georgia Institute of Technology designed it by depositing carbon atoms on graphene – the ‘miracle material’ that’s also a form of carbon. The atoms initially form a circuit but gradually move out of position. The speed of this change depends on the temperature and specially designed structures on the surface.
