Fusing the vibe of a quality English pub with a Parisian wine bar, Clarette is the brainchild of Alexandra Petit from the Château Margaux family and restaurateur Natsuko Perromat du Marais. Set in West London’s Blandford Street, the venue has four rooms, serving predominantly French bins that start from £5 a glass.

It’s designed to take the pretensions out of wine; novices and noses alike are welcome, with friendly staff keen to chat about each element of the wine-making process, from planting to drinking.
