Hi­tachino Nest White Ale (Ja­pan). Wheat beer made in the Bel­gian style. Fresh and spicy, and a great match for light dishes such as fish. 5.5% abv. 330ml, £2.20.

Vo­ca­tion Pride & Joy Pale Ale (Eng­land). Hoppy and bright, with some trop­i­cal fruit. Great to tackle the mild spice in Thai food. 5.3% abv. 330ml, £2.60.

Founders All Day IPA (US). Less than 5% abv but with no com­pro­mise on taste. Re­fresh­ing and hoppy, this makes a clas­sic match with a beef­burger and bar­be­cued meats.

4.7% abv. 355ml, £2.18.

Lost and Grounded Keller Pils (Eng­land). A clean tast­ing and lightly spicy pil­sner that is un­fil­tered, so it’s ve­gan-friendly. En­joy with a mixed heir­loom tomato salad for a light lunch.
