WRONG CHOICE AT PALACE

After reading Rory Smith’s column on British managers [FFT 273], I couldn’t help but agree. Personally, after Sam Allardyce’s England departure, I was shocked he was given a job so quickly. Why not give the job to a manager like Gary Rowett, who did such a superb job at Birmingham City, or why not promote someone inside the club? With Crystal Palace’s squad, they do not need a top manager to keep them up, so why not help to develop a new boss instead?
