Mary is an awardwinning journalist based in Hertfordshire. She writes for many publications including national newspapers, The Sunday Times Travel Magazine, Rough Guides and Wanderlust. She has visited every French region, and now has her eyes on the Dom-toms – France’s overseas départements and territories. On page 66, Mary takes a break in Biarritz.
“Choosing a favourite part of France is tough, and I would be torn between the Île de Ré and the Luberon. Eating oysters at a shack on the Île de Ré is up there with hiking in the Luberon for some of the most pleasurable things to do in France.”
