France through your camera lens
We always enjoy looking at your photos of France, so if something catches your eye while you’re holidaying or househunting then we’d love you to share it with us! 1. This gorgeous evening sky was sent to us by Pete Arnold on the last night of his camping car tour of France in July. The photo was taken in St-céneri-leGérei in Orne and distills everything we love about French villages. 2. We loved Neill Harrild’s artistic find while househunting in Dordogne this August. Many of these hay bale sculptures pop up around harvest time. Let’s hope Neill doesn’t go for a house made of straw... 3. This incredible feat of engineering in Loiret is well worth a visit and Michel Bond’s fantastic shot really captures the atmosphere of the place. The Briare canal bridge carries a canal (and boats) over the River Loire. 4. Linda Viandier was spending time in Burgundy this August and sent us shots that captured “the magic of the area”, including its delicious and nourishing food. That table certainly looks inviting. 5. Frederic Laurent says he likes to read FPN when he travels to the UK, even though he is French! This is his picture of St-ilpize in Auvergne, featuring a “beautiful landscape of hills and ruined castle, as we like in France.” Merci!
