Reluctant to flower
Why didn’t my mimosa flower in spring?
Mimosa (Acacia dealbata) usually flowers as a relatively small tree (H2-3m/6-10ft) provided you plant it in a sunny, sheltered spot. Flower buds form in autumn and open in early spring, but these can be damaged by cold temperatures if the plant is in a frost pocket or windy location. With a bit more patience, and mild winters, I’m sure your plant will flower.
